About Men’s Dress

Men are dressing up quite ever, fuelled by new workplace dress codes, individual expression and fresh trends. Dressing for men has traditionally been deeply compartmentalized—there’s a suit or dress shirt and trousers for normal workdays, polo T-shirts and khakis for Fridays, traditional garments for festivities, and shorts for holidays and thus the gym.

Indian Religion and their Dress

The distinction between ordinary dress and religious dress is difficult to delineate in India because the quality members of the numerous socio religious groups may often be distinguished by their costumes. as an example ,
Hindu men frequently wear short coats (angarkha), and whereas typical Muslim attire for men could also be an extended white cotton shirt (kurtah) and trousers (pāʾijamah).
Traditional Sikh dress could also be a typical kurtah and cotton trousers, covered by an extended hanging coat (choghah). The male Sikh is recognized especially by his practice of wearing his hair and beard uncut, the previous being covered by a very large turban and thus the latter often restrained by a net.
